RDI presents the Complete Ford Racing Performance Parts C392 Crate Engine package. Upgraded with a forged crankshaft, rods and pistons under the new Z304 cylinder heads and re-tuned with a dual plane manifold for strong performance, excellent driveability and durability for Superformance owners to enjoy. The weight is 95 pounds less than the FE iron block engines, and 145 pounds less than the 460 iron block engines.

The FRPP C392 crate engine is tailored with carefully selected aftermarket components, then tested to assure durability and strong performance for the track and excellent tractability for the road. Inspection, conversion and dyno work is by experienced, professional Ford race engine builders using top quality components provided and controlled by RDI. Dyno-tuned with premium fuel, it comes ready to install in your Superformance Mk III.

ENGINE FEATURES:

1. Base Engine: FRPP M-6007-C392 Crate Engine Assembly with HD "Sportsman" 2-bolt iron block, 3.850" stroke forged steel crankshaft, M-6200-D351 SAE 5140 connecting rods with 3/8” diameter ARP bolts, 10:1 forged pistons with full floating pins and plasma moly-filled steel top rings.

2. Cylinder Heads: Aluminum FRPP M-6049-Z304 with CNC'd 63cc chambers, premium stainless steel valves, 2.02” diameter intake and 1.60” diameter exhaust.

3. Camshaft: Hydraulic roller, .563" intake and .584" exhaust lift, 232º intake and 240º exhaust duration at 0.050" lift. FRPP M-6500-R302 hydraulic tappets. FRPP multi-index true-roller timing chain.

4. Valve train: FRPP K351 stud mounted, 1.60:1 ratio roller rocker arms and dual valve springs.

5. Intake Manifold: Dual-plane aluminum Edelbrock "Performer RPM" designed for excellent low-end driveability and good top-end power for this larger displacement 351 Windsor.

6. Carburetor: RDI Prepped Holley 770 CFM w/ vacuum secondary and electric choke. (Others are available.)

7. Air Cleaner: FRPP chrome 13-inch air cleaner. (Other air cleaners are available.)

8. Valve Covers: FRPP 'tall' polished aluminum valve covers. (Other valve covers are available.)

9. Oil Pan: Canton "T" style, front-sump with 7-quart capacity. Standard-volume, adjustable Melling oil pump and heavy-duty shaft. Pressure adjusted to compensate for external system losses. (Road-race version available.)

10. Accessory Drive: FRPP aluminum under-drive V-belt pulley system with 60 Amp. 4-wire alternator.

11. Fuel Pump: Mechanical Carter high-performance pump with fittings and 3/8" hose to the carburetor fuel log.

12. Flywheel: FRPP 157-tooth steel billet flywheel installed to receive the FRPP, McLeod or Ram Clutches with 10-spline or 26-spline disks to match Tremec Ford transmissions. (Aluminum flywheels are available.)

13. Ignition: FRPP billet aluminum, vacuum advance distributor with FRPP high performance wires and loom.

14. Starter: High torque FRPP starter. Cable is included.

15. Testing: Engine is run-in and dyno-tested, inspected for leaks, then carefully crated for shipment.

16. Documentation: Engine specification, dyno sheet and installation instructions are packed with the engine.

17. Options: This RDI6007COB4Z engine can be "personalized" for reasonable extra cost.
